Radiant, beautiful, timeless, and opulent would be the words to describe 5:31 Jérôme Spring/Summer 2015 collection. I see great change coming in with  Jérôme's brand each season the fabrics are getting richer and the style is getting even more fabulous. I see any lady grabbing the clothing off of the racks as soon as they hit the stores.

Parental Advisory : Alexander Wang SS14

Alexander Wang's SS14 collection has given me a new outlook for the season. in addition, He's stuck to his native roots with tons of Oriental silhouettes and  relaxed clothing, which fabrications were light and perfect for the season to come. I also sensed a feel of bedtime wear on the go. One of my favorite looks would be the shirt that has Parental Advisory, also mixed with sheer panels. 

Moreover, I appreciate this collection because it allowed me to tap into his head.

Golden Ambition "Obessed"

Spring is already here and the fall/winter is gone until next time. but for the metallic trend why wait  next fall to wear something "on trend" instead I wanted it now and just a simple stitch away. On my sewing machine of course, I got it. every since I made it I couldn't help but want to wear it with almost anything. Hello, I was am obsessed with my creation. took me two days to finish it and now I can sas-shay away turning heads and widen eyes of the people I pass by. It's unnormal , crazy , and misunderstood. I say it's brillant if that was my imput on it as the third person speaking.

The feeling is that when you make something or even do the unthinkable you're bound to be most proud of it.

What are you inspired by?

Shirtless collar, and Metallic's

I've been seeing the shirt less collar going around within the fashion settings when designers use this in there collections to make new  statements, and I adore it. Since I'm conjuring up a new shirt for Winter/Fall , and doing a rub off design of a from a old shirt I never have worn. I wanted to take full advantage of the shirt-less collar trend. I felt so intivative when I was wearing my collar. It's like trying on your first designer, Which I haven't yet... but the feeling is mutual.

Now while I'm still blogging about trends, I've noticed that collections for FW12 are all about

Metallic's.

I fell in love with this and especially when I seen the John Galliano collection.

I guess you will be seeing something metallic in my wardrobe next season or should I say before this is over. I think it would be the feeling of saying been there, done that.. on to the next one.

I'm in the process of designing me something and I'm excited to finish it.



Spring awakings, repeat offenders, and gladiators

Hello fellow fashion readers and bloggers !

Happy leap year too you all. Today was a very interesting day for me due to the fact at my school  hosted a job fair and I happened to be a part of it ( looking for the job). It so happens that there wasn't any positions that interested me. Well I looked good doing what I do most ... staying styled to the max.

People if I must say that I noticed that I'm an repeat offender when it comes to wearing my vintage mink and it's a sad thing to put away once spring, and summer comes. You can already see that the spring flowers are blooming, and the sun is coming out more then usual. unless it was one of those wired days in the winter like we've been having . Cray Cray indeed. I'd wish sometimes that you could wear fur in the summer because it's so freaking beautiful to have with you.. You wouldn't believe how many times people have asked me what type of fur it that, or is that even real. honest truth  That's been asked over numerical amounts of times. Now all I can think of is what will I wear? Will I make me a few items for spring/Summer? what type of shoes are in store for me?

Speaking of shoes, I haven't owned a pair of Gladiator Shoes since I was 7 and been seeing them come back , and when they came back in season I never gotten a chance to order me a pair which I seen on Topman.com last summer. I'm wishing and hoping to buy a pair and style it to my pure needs of perfection.

Velvet Creation

Life wonders and sometime I ponder about what's next and what is my next creation. I will tell you that I just grabbed my cutting tools , and this beautiful material then I went to work.

Yes, I'm saying I created a shirt from velvet.

    When it comes to dressing it's an art form and a way of taking risk, Then when it comes to my creations I see it as a step into what I want to see in my fashion label. "I am my brand."

MATTERS TAKEN INTO MY OWN HANDS

Hello everyone , Happy New years to a new beginning of " new life "  what other way is there by making a change to what you feel  could be better in the new year. I see myself as a person/ Fashion blogger wanting to build up myself and my brand which I hope to push forward with when its the right moment by starting to make pure classic bow ties and sale them too those how really likes them and then starting my own collection. The New years is about reinvention for the soul. Why not go for the stars where you want to be in life.  For this blog " Fashion Breakout" I believe that I will take it far beyond where I stand but it all starts with myself and the appreciation I have for Life, Fashion, and other beings that lives in this world  called earth.

"WHO? WHAT? WHY?"

Over the past days I've had an big obsession with what you would call a skirt but the correct term would be a kilt. People in Scott land would have  festivals for their cultural events walking around celebrating their heritage. We take it then revamp it as a fashion statement. Although I'm nowhere near Scottish I'm in love with what they do and how they wear their kilts. The only downside is that they take off their under pants but that's okay ! This whole entire week I've pushed to master the kilt but taking into my own hands by being very versatile turning my knit sweater from a causal everyday wear sweater into what I call a "KILT". I must remind you being in a town where sometimes being different isn't taken so lightly well for the older generation it's hard to rang out but I find ways to explore anyway. Other than that I'm honestly happy with the outcome and I've been meaning to post this a couple of days ago, But since I lost my camera adapter I couldn't until I found out how to upload using the memory card that was in my camera. Other than me wanting to buy a kilt that I'm fixated with for the moment . Over the summer I brought this beautiful bright neonish colored brief case from  Nigerian born, Toronto based designers Fela Fagbure & Fola Fabure and as you know they called their brand Alex Folzi. Like most fashion and style fanatics were obsessing over and wanting, I happen to join the group as I look at them for months and realized it was perfect  for Spring/ Summer but I decided to bring it back out into the winter/ fall. I feel that people nowadays are wearing either black or blue but I wanted to pop out of those traditional little flaws that has been going on since forever and bring in some happy go colors that will put a smile on people's faces when they see me or this AH-MAZING briefcase. I hope to get another one soon but in a different more glorified color. the boots I order on the website for Doc Martens and only for the reason I've always wanted some Doc Martens and wanted something that was very close to combat boots. As soon I they arrived at my door I was excited to finally have them in a presents.

 

New beginnings , new blog.

Happy to be on a new beginnings with a whole new blog. Since my transition from tumblr I want to take a on the fashion worldwith a new mind, and goals. If you don't know me and those who do my name is Darius Burnettte, I'm from Richmond, Va and most important a true fashion obsessed person that you may know or meet.
